ON THE LINKS
HTJTT CLUB. Tho members of the Hutt Club held a bogey competition ou Saturday for Air Frater's prize. The afternoon was beautifully line and tho links in excellent order. Notwithstanding, this the play shown was not so good as might have been expected- There was a large entry; the best cards handed in being the following:—G. Pringle, G down; P. Robicson, 6 down; R. O. Chesney, 7 down; A. Treadwell, 7 down; A. Beudall. 7 down. Pringle and Robieson will playoff at an early date. MIRAMAR CLUB. The men's bogey competition on Satur, day was won by W. E. H. Mackenzie, the next best cards handed in being those of Rev. J*. G. S. Bartlett and V. G. Rhind. WELLINGTON CLUB. The Wellington Golf Club's monthly competition for the monthly desk was played at the Heretaunga links on Saturday, the following cards being handed in:—W- Reid, 2 down; J, C. Peacock, E. S. Pearce, A. D. Duncan, L. W. Hales, N. W. Kirkby, 3 down; J. Marshbanks and A. Young, 4 down; W. G. Fussell, 5 down; G- T. George, 7 down.
