TO REPLACE TYRES ON MOTORCARS.

Mr George Westinghoase, of Pittsburg, announces that ho has effected and perfected an air-spring wheel, which is intended to replace tyres at present used on automobiles.

New York State, and early manifested liis remarkable mechanical genius lor at the age of fifteen he invented a rotary ergine. hia invention of the air brake in 1868. Ho Tiii.q u. his credit many inventions in connection with pneumatic, electric, and other machinery. He has founded works in fcEvoral parts of America and in England. Austria and Italy. Ho is president of thirfcv corporations, with an aggregate capital of £24.000,000, and giving employment to 50,000 worlbren. ' He has bcei» decorated by France, Italy and Belgium.
