Colonel Crichton Browne, formerly of South Africa, presiding; at a meeting in support of the Child I-migra-tion Society which deals with those children who aro, under tho control of Poor Law Guardians, remarked that by moans of medical selection children could now l>o sent out with absolute conridenco and would become a very valuable asset to tho Dominions. “ The colonials,” ho said, “have waste lands; wo have waste human beings. Let them bo brought together for tho Empire’s good.”
Air Ayhalley, organising secretary of tho society, stated that West Australia was willing to share in tho cost of tho scheme.
