SECOND DAY BIG DISPLAY ATTRACTS MUCH ATTENTION. Though tho weather yesterday, and especially last night, was not particularly good, very many pcoplo visited tho Coronation Industrial Exhibition and took the opportunity of inspecting the big display there made of goods . manufactured in tho Dominion. As was only to bo expected, the attendance was below that of tho opening day aud at no time were the aisles crowded with eager sightseers as they frequently w'ci'o on Wednesday afternoon and evening. By lar tho larger proportion were present during tho evening. STADIUM ATTRACTIONS. Entries for tho first bowling tournament, to bo held iu tho stadium to-mor-row afternoon and evening, will close with the sports committee secretary, - Mr F. A. Allen, at 5 o’clock this evening. Four gold medals are ottered as trophies for tho winning rink. The exhibition sport committee has drawn up. the ’ following programme of events to be run oft at the stadium on Wednesday evening next: —One mile skating race (handicap); 50 yards .flat championship, open only to membeie of hockey and lacrosse clubs; two mile run handicap; !$■ mile-walk handicap; halfmile slow- cycle race. Entries close tomorrow with Messrs Kitto and Graham, Manners street, F. Allen, 111, Customhouse quay, and F. Crowes, 33, Willis •street. The entrance fee is Is for each event.
