Prior to tho match exhibition bouta were given bv E. Ellis and Chandler, JN. Bond and McKnight, Ellis and McCarthy, and Crothy and Bond; while Tuke Morri? gained a narrow decision over J. Hogan. Dr Napier McLean was referee.
