The Imperial preference campaign inaugurated at Manchester was continued at the Albert Hall last night, Lord Selborne presiding. Air Joseph Chamberlain, in a message, urged the acceptance of the dominions’ offer while there was yet time. Air Balfour predicted serious difficulties from the working of mostfavoured national treaties, unless our existing fiscal system was altered.
