Huskisson, M.P., at tho opening of tho Manchester-Liverpool Railway in 1830, and also the fact that six deaths occurred during tho ParisMadrid motor race on May 24th, 1903. Mr Fisher, Australian Prime Minister, has telegraphed to M. Monis his profound sorrow at M. Borteaux’s death, and condolences with tho relatives. Ho hopes for M. Monis’s speedy recovery. M.
