THE exhibit of Messrs Gurney Bros., - Basketware Manufacturers, will be lound conveniently situated - in “U” shed, at Stall No. IG. This firm has been established a quarter of a century in Wellington. Their display of go-carts and prams will prove their title to piionty in the list of colonial manufacturers of these goods. Included in the list of exhibits will be found; the well-known "Blanket Car,” the pretty “Jap” Car. and a -fine American pattern article seldom seen in the Eominion, whilst several of them have features never before introduced into the manuiacture of prams. One or two contain wire-woven seats, whilst others have ventilated hoods. The hygienic principle of the wire-woven seats cannot be too highly praised, and will prove the future requirements of every car. Two very fine cars have respectively swell panels (with motor stripes) and shell panels, whilst in every instance the rattanwaro and upholstering is charmingly perfect and essentially comfortable. The exhibit of Maori tea-cosies, handbags and wallpockets is most unique. Their patent swing bassinette is revelation.
