Councillor Standen moved, in accordance with notice, that the matter of a shorter route to Karori be discussed. He 1 suggested that a committee congisting of the Mayor, and Conncillors Hildreth, Nimmo, Hamilton, and the mover bo set up to go into the quee- • tion and report to the. next meeting.
