INTRODUCTION OF CO OPERATIVE SYSTEM. SPECIAL TO TUB '(TIMES.” AUCKLAND, May 22. A special meeting of tho Waihi Mi tiers’ Union ires held on Saturday night to discuss tho second portion of the “reference" brought down by the executive- in regard to the contract system. About fivo hundred members were present. Air Parry presided. Considerable discussion ensued, but the proceedings were orderly - A resolution in favour of the introduction of the cooperative system, as recommended by the executive, in regard to the working of jobs taken under the present tender system, was carried unanimously, and it was resolved "That tho new system come into operation one month, hence."
