DEPARTMENT’S JOURNAL
The Taranaki Provincial Conference of tho Farmers’ Union at Inglewood, upon the motion of Mr E. Maxwell, passed a resolution placing on record their appreciation of tho nature and value of the information contained in the monthly "Agricultural Journal," the conference tendering its thanks to the department far having published a monthly journal in place of withholding information until the issue of the annual report. The mover, and Messrs E. Marfell and J. W. Jones (president), spoke in the highest terms of the production, and said the farmers of the district should certainly subscribe to it, especially as
the cost was only half-£uorown per annum.
