Ex-King Manuel of Portugal, with his mother, Queen Amelia, visited the Kaiser and Kaisorin at Buckingham Palace. Tho Royal ball, at tho Palace last evening, provided a brilliant spectacle. Tbo ball-room was decorated witli pink roses and carnations. King George nnd tho Kaiserin, with tho Kaiser and Queen Mary, opened tho quadrille, Among the guests were the various colonial High Commissioners and Agents-General and their wives. King George and Queen, Mary, with the Kaiser and Kaiserin, visited ’the sports tournament at Olympia on Friday. . , Tho Kaiser and tho German Empress were entertained at luncheon by the Duke and Duchess of Connaught. The guests included the Duke and Duchess of Norfolk, tho Earl of Rosebery, Field-Marshal Lord Kitchener, and Admiral Sir Edward Seymour. The Emperor has invited the Prince of Wales to visit Potsdam.
