STAB BOATING CLUB
Tho annual smoke concert of the Star Boating Club . was attended by about sixty members at the club house on Saturday night. Mr Bayfield, the club's captain, presided. The prizes won during the season were presented. Many tenets were celebrated, including that of "The Visitors” (by Mr F. H. Taylor), which was responded to by Mr Gaudin: (Wellington Rowing Club), Mr Arrowsmith (Petone Bowing Club), and Mr Fitzer (Canterbury Rowing Club). A very entertaining programme was contributed by Messrs H. N. Fletcher, A. W. Newton, A. Cummins, Dave Kenny, G. F. Parsons, F. Moorehouse, H. Cato. R. Fitzer, and .T. Harper. Mr L. V. Hulbert was honorary secretary of the function.
