NATIONAL PROVIDENT BILL.
PROVISION FOB MEDICAL ATTENDANCE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received May 19, 10.10 p.m.) LONDON, May 19. The National Insurance Bill, introduced by Mr Lloyd George, Chancellor of the Exchequer, provides -04,200,000 for expenditure annually on medical attendance, including drugs and dressings. It permits payment of a capitation fee of six and recognises the desirableness of giving a choice in the matter of doctors. Mr Lloyd George proposes a wide panel of local medical men willing to serve.
