ST. HILDA’S, ISLAND BAY
The Kight Uevercnd the Bishop of Wellington will lay the foundation stone of St. Hilda's Church. Island Bay, this afternoon at 3 o’clock. Only the nave is at nrosent being built. Tho west wall will be brick. Tho roof will be supported bv jarrali pillars on concrete foundations.' These will be covered round with temporary wood walls. In the future side aislcsv choir, sanctuary, and tower, all in brick, are to be added, in order to make tho complete building.
