During his stay ,at Balmoral the King met two small schoolboys on. the roaod and stopped thorn inquiring if they could read. Deceiving a reply in the affirmative, he requested them to read from one, of the boohs in their satchels. This they did, and the K'.ng highly commended, them, saying lie doubted. whether his own boys could have done eo well at their age.
