CANDIDATES MISS NOMINATION AT ELEVENTH HOUR. LONDON* December 2. Owing to the absence of tho Socialist candidate and tho impossibility of correcting his nomination paper, a threecornered contest at West Salford was avoided. Mr A. A- Haworth (Liberal) was reelected unopposed for South Manchester, as Mr Glazebrook, Ills Unionist opponent, mistaking tho time, arrived six minutes 100 late. JEWS IN THE FIELD. There aro thirty-six Jewish candidates contesting seats at the election —twenty Liberals and sixteen Unionists. In two London constituencies all the candidates are Jews
