NEW PLYMOUTH, December 2. The Agricultural Society, was favoured with glorious weather for People's Day at the show on Thursday, and the attendance was consequently ; very large. All the: ring competitions were most Interesting, and the jumping excellent. Mr Norman Bewley’s .hunter Ham won several prizes during the two days, and Mr Chaney’s game little - mare StarJass , won the jumping, steeplechase .style. Miss Ethel Abbott won the prize for best * lady •’■rider, her find plucky, riding being generally admired. The Garrisop Band played on the lawn during the afternoon..
