COLONIAL WINES BETTER
VERDICT OP JUDGES AT BEEWEEiy EXHIBITION. By Telogiaph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, December 1. The judges at the Brewers' Exhibition report that the colonial wines are generally very satisfactory, showing a marked improvement in condition as compared with previous exhibits. It is evident that growers and merchants understand that better-class wines are most suitable for Britain. 'Muscatels are little appreciated here. Sparkling wines have markedly improved, but are still unequal to the Continental. : Eegret is expressed that not more shippers are represented, especially Victorian and West Australian. ’
