OPIUM SUPPRESSION

The Hon. W. L. Mackenzie King, Dominion Minister for Labour, has introduced a Bill to prohibit the importation, manufacture, and sale of opium. A suggestion to include the prohibition of cigarettes was not considered by the Prime Minister.
