The Canadian Government has entered into negotiations with the Great Northern Telegraph Company, whoso land lines would be used to connect the Canadian terminus of the Atlantic cable with tho Pacific cable. It is believed the scheme presents good prospects, but final arrangements have yet to be made between the Canadian and British Governments and the Great Northern Company. DENMARK FAVOURS THE SCHEME.
