THUNDERSTORM IN SYDNEY
BOY KILLED AND MUCH DAMAGE DONE.

Home of the low-lying districts were flooded, and considerable damage was done. Several trams wore derailed through debris collecting on the lines. A building collapsed at Eyde, and a boy was killed. ... v TELEGRAPHIC WORK DELAYED. (Received December 2, 1.3 a.m.) SYDNEY, December 1. The thunderstorms are interfering with the working of the telegraphs, and messages are greatly delayed. No report of the cricket match between tho South African eleven, and Toowoomba has come through.-
