THE NEW LABOUR PARTY
The growth of the Wellington main branch of the New Zealand Labour Party is slow, but those prominent in the movement hope that before long the formation of the branch will be completed and officers elected. A report submitted to - tho last meeting by the canvassers showed that 250 members have now joined and the names of many more would probably bo added during 'the next fortnight. In view of the increased membership nominations of permanent officers will Ibe made at the next meeting, and, if necessary, an election will subsequently be held.
