When the, matter of offering a corporation property in Adelaide road for sale at public. auction. was .before the Qity Council last evening, Councillor. Barber expressed the opinion that ■ the council should take some steps towards offering the whole: of Its osotions in that locality. Ho pointed out that the road was,; eminently suitable for residential purposes, but was a failure from a business' point of view. Some of the dil apidatod buildings. which at present existed there l were a disgrace to the locality, and should, be removed as soon as possible 1
