FROM OTTB. OWN CORRESPONDENT. PAJLMBRSTON, December 1. Tho vital statistics for Palmerston for tho month of November ore: Births 37, deaths 10, marriages 15.. The hospital statistics for the past month are: In hospital on November 1, 45; admitted during month, 49; discharged, 47; died, 5; in hospital at present, 42. The Manawatu Counted Rifles went into camp at Te Matai yesterday afternoon. There is a good muster "already in camp, forty-five answering to tho first roll call and more will come in to-day and to-morrow. The officers in camp are: Captain Peach, Captain-Adjutant Palmer, Lieutenants Batchelor, Smith, Clevely and Buick, and Staff-Sergeant Dovey (instructor).
