NAPIER, December 1. The second series of Napier wool sales wore held to-day, over 12,000 bales being offered to a largo attendance of buyers. Bidding: was spirited, more especially for strong wools, and Bradford buyers wore large operators. Prices for liner wools were a shade lower than at previous sales. Two lots of super halfbrod realised 13d, being the highest, price? obtainedv'i vpine crossbred averaged, from; slOd 'to :vlld. The top price for halfbrod was' - 12d, ’or • a farthing less than at the last J sale.''
