He urged that the clause should bo struck out. After considerable discussion the Hon. J. B. Jonldnson (Wellington) moved to delete the words “full detailed, but was defeated on tlio voices. Tho clause ns it stood was adopted by 11 votes to G. . . In clause 8 there is provision for a fine where a driver “fails to produce ms certificate” when requested to do so. Ino Hon. J. E.
