At the'annual meeting of the Illinois Central Railroa"d Company a . surprise was sprung on stockholders by Mr Maswell Egar, District Attorney. Mr Egai- had subpoenas served on all the directors, who are to be held responsible for financial losb through repair "graft." .'■,•■ Mr John Jacob Astor and Mr Cornelius Vanderbilt were among those served. The action is for 10,000,000 dollars.
