A MAGNIFICENT GIFT
HOME FOR INCURABLES. MR W. C BUCHANAN'S GENEROSITY. . TBESS ASSOCIATION MASTERTON, October 21. The necessity for the provision of a homo for incurables has been urged by the Wairarapa Hospital and Charitable Aid Board for some months past. The secretary of the board to-day received a letter from Mr W. C. Buchanan, M.P., offering to defray the cost of a home, on the Greytown hospital site, to contain sixteen bs-.is for incurabies and four beds for incurable consumptives. The chairman of the board has telegraphed to Mr Buchanan, thanking him tor his magnificent offer, and stating that it will be brought before the board at the next meeting.
