The British Royal yacht Victoria and Albert arrived at, Plymouth yesterday from Gibraltar with Kins Maiiuel of Portugal aud his mother, Quecu Amelie, on board. The yacht arrived eight hours before the time fixed for the Royal party's landing, and while waiting she steamed aimlessly about the English Channel while wireless messages were dispatched summoning the Duke of Orleans and others.

King Manuel and Queen Amelie were greeted by the public of Plymouth with silent sympathy. A special train carried them to Woodnorton, Norfolk, where they arrived at midnight, and were loudly cheered by the townsfolk. King George and Queen Mary have postponed their visit to 'Woodnorton to meet the Portuguese Royal Family owing to the grave illness of Prince Francis of Teck.
