The "Daily Chronicle's" Milan correspondent reports that the Marquis Oiuo C'apponi, a member of a. famous Florentine family, has been arrested at Valese. If; is declared that he has long been the leader c-f a powerful gang of smugglers, who scale a 12-fcot metal fence on the Jtalo-Swiss-Austrian frontier, gmugglitig lace, saccharine, and watches. Ono of Cappani'a gang, when captured, had in his possession 3,090,000 cigars and cigarettes.
