TRZBS iSSOOIATJOX. HASTINGS, October 20. The Fruitgrowers' Conference adopted rules and regulations for governing the federated associations. Officers were elected as follow:—Mr \V. H. Cockayne gave a practical demonstration on the emulsifying of oil sprays, flesolutions were passed that tho conference recognises the need for the establishment of cool storage in the principal centres; that the conference recognises the importance of fostering the export industry and respectfully asks the Minister to" again give Id a pound guarantee on suitable apples exported to England and Europe.
