SOME NEW SOUTH WALES FIGURES. PREPONDERATING CONTINUANCE VOTE. As we have, been informed by cable, the returns are far from complete concerning the local option poll taken in New South Wales last Friday. The latest Sydney papers to band are those of last Saturday, and tbey give complete results of only six of the ninety licensing districts. These are of interest if we take them (as may fairly be done) as an indication of the general vote throughout the State. They are; —
The very small vote cast last week for reduction may seem inconsistent with the fact that_ that, issue has been carried in several districts.
