A tidal wave partially submerged Havana, causing damage to the extent of a million dollars. Simultaneously with the floods tn Havana, Iho town of St. Augustine, was inundated. Ono hundred persons were killed and hundreds injured, and the damage is estimated at millions of pounds, ns a result of tho hurricane. At Havana the inhabitants are panicstricken. A BLOW AT KEY WEST. During tho storm at Key "West, Florida, several vessels parted from their moorings, and many houses were unroofed. The wind velocity is reported to have reached ninety miles an hour. Three deaths are reported. Numerous seismic shocks have been registered at Santa Clara Observatory, California, and It is announced that some connection, exists between these shocks and the tidal wave.in Cuba. A Havana telegram states that the reports of damage by the storm were exaggerated, and that two deaths only were recorded.
