ANGLICAN MISSION
On Tuesday afternoon the first of the special services for women was held in St. Hilda's Church, Island Bay. A large congregation assembled. The children’s daily service, which was taken by Mr Mutter, followed. The service increases in popularity as the mission proceeds, the attendance increasing daily. The evening mission service was held in the Assembly Hall, and a large congregation listened with attention to the Rev. H. K. W. Farror as lie unfolded the story of Achan, and pictured the terrible results of sin. The missioncr said one either influenced people for good or evil, and a great responsibility is upon us. The second address dealt with God’s covenant with man—to the Jews by circumcision, to Christians by baptism.
