A young man named Percy Revas was fined* A 3, with Gs costs or fourteen days imprisonment, on a charge of using indecent language in a public place. On a charge of damaging a gaol-cell floor ho was fined 20s and ordered to make good tho damage done, 20s. or seven days m gaol, and bn a charge of drunkenness was convicted and discharged. Station-Sergeant Darby prosecuted, and Mt 11. O’Leary appeared for the accused. i A SERIOUS CHARGE. William La very was remanded till to-, day on the application of Mr A. L. Herdman on a cliar'gc of carnally knowing a girl under the age of sixteen years. DRUNKENNESS. On a charge of drunkenness Janies Wilson was declared, an habitual drunkard, and sentenced to one month in gaol. On a similar charge John McCalluiu was fined 10s or forty-eight hours’ imprisonment.
