LETTERS FROM POLITICIANS
SEIZED IN INDIAN SEDITIONMONGER’S HOUSE.

The police at Calcutta raided tile house of Krishna Kotmor Matter, who was some time ago deported! in connection with tho alleged importation of arms, and seized a quantity of correspondence. This included letters from Jlr Philip Morrell (es-Liboral M.P. for South Oxfordshire), Mr Arnold Lnpton (es-LiberalM.P. for the Sleaford Division of Lincolnshire), and Sir Henry Cotton (ex-Ijberal M.P. for Nottingham East). The police examined others from Hr Keir Hardie (Labour M.P. for MerthyrTydvil), and Mr Hilaire Bellws (Liberal M-P. for Salford South). All these letters Krishna’s son asserts were addressed to him.
