A NONSUIT SOUGHT
CASE CONCERNING FOXTON LANDS
The Foxton case, in which claim is made for tho rectification of‘ an agreement to lease certain lauds, was advanced a stage yesterday before Mr Justice Cooper at the Supreme Court. Tho plaintiffs are Frederick Spencer Easton, farmer, of Foxton, and Barbara Ellen Austin, executrix of the will of tho 1-ato Herbert Austin, flaxmiilcr, and tho defendant is John Rainbow b tan sell, auctioneer, of Shannon. Mr C H. Treadwell appeared for the plaintiffs and Mr A. S. Menteath for the defendant. „ , . . Before evidence was called for the defence Mr Menteath made application for a nonsuit. ; ~ His Honor reserved judgment upon the nonsuit points argued, agreeing to hear further evidence later, if necessary.
