A KING EDWARD MEMORIAL
PEACE SOCIETY FUND TO ENDOW HOSPITAL OR SCHOOL.

The Peace Society proposes to raise .£50,000 for a King Edward memorial. The money may be devoted to endowing a ward in St. Bartholomew's Hospital or for the establishment of Imperial scholarships at the City of "London school.
Mr Andrew Carnegio and Sir William Mather (chairman of Mothes and Piatt, Ltd., owners of the Salford Ironworks) have contributed .£IOOO each to tho fund. .
