Tho Chamber of Commerce last night passed a motion drawing the attention of the Union Company to the inconve.uionco tho people of this district and the outsido travelling public are put to owing to tho late hour of sailing of passenger steamers from Wellington to Pictpn, and strongly urging that tho earlier hour of departure as provided in the previous time-table be reverted to. Lcnsidorable dissatisfaction exists over tho manner in winch the eervico is run pwsont. Tho Iwiihray Department is <also blamed for not suiting the running of trains to tho steamer time-table.
