The Toronto correspondent of “Tic Times" telegraphs that Sir William Van Horne, chairman of directors of the Canadian Pacific Hallway Company, goes to Australia to advise the Commonwealth Government .on tho construction of transcontinental railways
MELBOURNE, May 23.
Xh<i Federal Prime Minister, the Hon. A. Fisher, states, with reference to the cable about Sir W. Van Horne, that there is evidently a mistake as to the latter’s mission to Australia. Tho Federal Government has had no communication with Sir IV. Van Homo.
