A SUCCESSFUL CONGRESS.

Special interest was shown in the discussion of numerous important papers, including ■ British and colonial, especially that read by Mr P. B. Guthrie, a Sydney agricultural expert, on sciontifia wheat-growing.
Mr AJI. J*. E. Dunstan, principal of thft South-eastern. Agricultural College, Wye, Kent, was elected president of the International Association of Tropical Agriculture by acclamation.
