WANTED, A FOOTPATH
(To til3 Editor ”N.Z. Timea."! Sir, —It seems a pity that the City Council authorities tone not asphalting the footpath from file tramway terminus along Wallace street right un to the Carrington street corner, instead of stopping thirty vards from Carrington street;. Do they consider the camel-nad to the Carrington street corner unite satisfactory and without any need of improvement? A iob half done is no iob at all, and I think that it is wasteful to make a good footpath oulv part of the way to a thickly-populated residential area (Wright street and Chrrington street!, which requires u docent right-of-way to and from the Wallace street tramway terminus. —I am. etc., “ RATEPAYER.” Newtown, April 22nd.
