Every child resident in New Zealand, 15 years of age and under, who sends or brings to the Childrens* Golden Competition Department a new Subscriber for. one month, accompanied by the money, will be allowed to compete. 2. All answers must be concise and to the point, and contain not more than twenty-five words. They may be in either prose or verso, and will bo published in the “ N.Z. Times ”> from week to week. The answers must he written on sheet .of paper, unsigned, and : must be accompanied by 1 the subscriptions. The answer* will be sent to the Judges of the Competition, whose decision will be- ( rendered without knowing the names of the competitors. 3.
