EASTER EXCURSION
WELLINGTON TO Mi3ffiLBOROUGH SOUNDS.
The Minister in charge »of the Tourist Department, the Hon. £T. Mackenzie, has been in communication with the "Union Company with reference to the possibility of running am excursion to the Marlborough Sounds during Easter, in consequence of which; the company has decided that provided' sufficient excursionists are booked by next Monday the s.s. Takapuna will leave Wellington on Thursday, the 2tth instant, for a cruise in the Marlboronsh. Sounds, axriving back on Tuesday,, the 29th ■■'n■stant. Tho return fare will be £5. The scenery in the Sounds ia well worth seeing, and it ia hoped that the public of Wellington will take advantage of this excursion, whicht, if successfu', will no doubt be the fore-runner of others at subsequent hoElday periods.
