BARMAID SHOT DEAD

A tragedy occurred in the Cafo I'talien, in Bond street, this afternoon resulting in the death of a bdrmaid named Stark, employed there. A man calling himself Walter Lovetb entered the bar and without warning fired shot after shot, in quick succession, at the womanj-who fell bleeding from several wounds, and died almost immediately, exclaiming with her latest breath, "Look after my girl." After shooting the barmaid Lovett turned tho revolver on himself, but only inflc-ited a minor wound. He told tho proprietor of the cafo oil Saturday that Stark was. his wife.'
