For Children's Hacking Cougb. at Night Woods' Great Peppermint Cure. Is 6d and 2s 6d. Mr Archbald Fullerton., a well-known, veteran and long-time resident of Port Chalmers, died on Thursday evening. Mr Fullerton, Who was born on November 30th, 1831, joined the navy at an early age, : and afterwards served as an A.B. under Captain Stokes, of the urvey ship Acheron, when that vessel was engaged in* the survey of the New Zealand coast. He was employed three years on the survey, and afterwards returned to England and joined H.M.S. Rodney as an A. 8., and served in this capacity throughout the Crimean war. He returned to New Zealand, and for some time was engaged in gold mining at Gabriel's Gully and Waitahuna, and then settled down at Port Chalmers, where he was employed in the harbour service until advancing years compelled him to retire. Mr Fullerton had the Sebastopol, and the Turkish medal 1m the Crimean war. He took pride in the fact that Lord Ranfurly presented him with a full set of "Deeds That Won the Empire." •
