LORD KITCHENER

A' telegram from an Indian correspondent which is published in the "Standard" states that Lord Kitchener has- been definitely offered the Vice-Royalty of India, in succession to Lord Minto. The correspondent says that the proposed appointment is regarded as a .sound step, all shades of opinion in India supporting it.
