NEW BILL APPROVED BY CABINET. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright PARIS, February 8. The Cabinet has approved the Navy Bill, which provides that the battle fleet in home waters shall consist of the following vessels : Battleships ... ... 28 Cruisers .- 10 Destroyers ... 62 The submarine , defence fleet will comprise ninety-four submarines. Four mine-laying vessels will shortly be commenced, and six battleships will be completed by 1915. The age of battleships on active service baa been fixed at twenty-five years, of cruisers twenty years, and destroyers and submarines seventeen years.
