SPECIAL TO TUB " TllfEa.-GROSHEi^-WHELCH. MASTERTON, February 8. Miss L. W'helcHi, daughter of Mr H. Whelch, of Mastortou, was married at St. Matthew's Ohurch, Alasterton, this afternoon to Air J. Crasher, of Auckland, Aliases Ethel Whelch, E. proshor and Hazel Davis were bridesmaids, and Mr R. Stevens was best man and Mr V. Sutton groomsman The ceremony was performed by the Rev. 11. Watson. COOPER—LYTTLE. At St. Matthew's Church, Masterton, this morning, Aiiss Alinni© Lyttle, second daughter of Mr J. A. Lyttle, of OCuvkune, and formerly of Alasterton, was married to Mr Percy Cooper, sou of Air J. H. Cooper, of Surbiton, Surrey, England. The bride, who was given away by her brother. Air James Lyttle, was attired in a navy blue tailor-made costume. Air Fred Lyttle was best man and the marriage ceremony was .performed by Rev. 11. Wateou. Mr and Airs Cooper subsequently left by train for Wellington, cn route for England, whore they intend to reside. KYLE—NICHOLSON. A quiet wedding was celebrated at St. AXa/tthew'e Ohurch, Alasterton, to-day, tho contracting parties being Miss Eunice Nicholson., oldest daughter of Air and Mrs D. Nicholson, of Masterton, and Mr Leslie Kyle, youngest son of Airs John Kyle, of Alasterton, and formerly of the West Coast, South Island. The bride was dressed in a navy blue tailor-made costume, with cream hat, and was given away by her uncle, Air W, Warner, of Wellington. Aiiss . Gladys Nicholson, sister of tho bride, was bridesmaid,: and Mr B. McKenzie, of Masterton, was best man. The bridesmaid wore a handsome 'white silk-embroidered drees, made in Empire style. The . ceremony was performed by Rev. H. Watson, and there was a large number of guests at the wedding breakfast, held at the residence of the bride's father and mother.
